Junhyeok Felix Park (South Korea, 1997) is the young baritone winner of the Fourth Prize at the 63rd Tenor Viñas Competition, as well as the Audience Award and the Special Prize for Best Verdi Singer.

— Once the competition has finished, how do you feel?

I'm so happy, so grateful and thankful. I just want to mention that every singer here is very talented and works so hard in every round. I'm very happy and very honored.

— What led you to the world of lyric and opera, and when did you decide to pursue it professionally?

I started singing in a choir when I was a child. Later I discovered opera music and fell in love with it. I decided this would be my job.

— What would you say are your dream roles?

It's a very difficult question. I'd love to sing Macbeth or Rigoletto, but I want to sing them at the right time in my career.

— In three words, how would you define the Tenor Viñas Contest?

Inspiring, challenging, special.

— What advice would you give to future participants of the Contest?

Just be honest with your voice, yourself, your mental, use this competition and enjoy it.
